One Bora Place - Makati

Great atmosphere, loved the live band, but the service was not very good, would have stayed much longer if we could get a drink. the band played accusations that were great and the male singer was great.

The concept of this bar is to bring boracay in the heart of makati with its beach-like decorations, wooden seat tables and waitress sarong. it is a good place to cool with band music and a few drinks while their feet are on the sand (yes, they placed real sand on the floor) but I would say that it is just an average bar. there are many bars in makati and this is just a typical one. we're here recently for cocktails. Good place to hang and easy to cool. beer is affordable while cocktail drinks and eating are a bit overpriced for a restaurant that does not accept credit cards.

I suggest long island and frozen lemon margarita if you want alchohol but not worrying about hangover the next day. Their shot of Baileys is too little so I'd say skip it. The passion fruit shake is sweet and it's surprisingly a good alternative to alcoholic drinks. Their nachos has huge serving. It's not that salty compared to other nachos I've tasted.
