Since my friend already wrote about our experience here, I won't put so much detail into the food but instead will add to her review: Mandy's House is a narrow... read more Since my friend already wrote about our experience here, I won't put so much detail into the food but instead will add to her review: Mandy's House is a narrow restaurant that is very easy to miss, in fact, I pass right by it everytime my cab driver feels it is faster to pass through the busy streets of the red light district than to wait in Makati Avenue. For easy reference, it is a street away from El Chupacabra and yes, like El Chupacabra, there is almost 0% chance you're going to get to park near the restaurant. Before going to the restaurant, I was expecting to see the usual kebab and shawarma. I was wrong, their menu got me really confused but thankfully my friend was pretty knowledgeable in middle eastern food. We had Hummus, Tabbouleh and Biryani Lamb, and yes, if you add everything together, it sort of becomes a disassembled shawarma. The Lamb Biryani comes with a generous serving of rice and the meat is very tender. The staff are kind and well mannered, no complaints here! I will definitely consider going back to Mandy's House, probably more so if it wasn't so hard to park. Give it a shot if you're feeling like you need something new.
