What Lou Kshlerin doesn't like about Lipa Grille Restaurant & Co:
My family from London, with my in-laws from Naga and my relatives here in Lipa met to have a family dinner. Not sure about their other local menu but I ate some pansit and a bit of Crispy pata (avoided crispy pata, been eating it since we arrived here in the Philippines at one of the resorts. Very fast serviceWide range of traditional Filipino dishesBig serving of their rice- it says good for 2-3 persons but it was actually good for 5 or so!I love that their sisig is not too oily. Although it would have been better if the sizzling plate was sizzling when it was served. Their pinakbet was perfectly cooked- ampalaya/bitter gourd was crunchy. A bit on the pricey side but it turned out okay.
If you are looking for best Crispy Pata and karekareng buntot ng baka, you must try visiting this place in Lipa City.
You get to eat in a kubo if you want. Kare Kare is good and creamy. Tuna belly is nice. My lunchmates enjoyed the sisig very much. Service can be a bit slow when its full.
Lipa Grill has perfected the Filipino classic Crispy Pata. Crispy on the outside, tender and tasty meat inside. I also liked:1. Pancit Canton2. Kare-Kare 3. Ribs4. Cozy al fresco dining areas5. Attentive waiters6. Efficient service7. Cheap prices8. Variety of Filipino dishes on their menu
For any expat who plans to visit family in Lipa, this is the place. After 30 years living abroad, the spices, barbecue aroma, fish uniquely Batanguena, Lipa Grill has mastered to do. It was like a fiesta of my childhood.
