One of the best pastry I ever tasted.
I so love everything.
One of my favorite is their cheese tart.
It's soft and flavourful!
It maybe small for 60php, but it's very worth it! View all feedback.
This is my Nth time to visit KUMORI. Everytime I go here, I feel "laging EXCITING". Excited to dig one of the best Japanese Cheesecake I've ever tasted. ???????????? I really love Kumori's Hanjuku Cheese "ang SARAP!" promise! ???????? Php48.00 only per piece. First time to try their Japanese Cheese Tart, my gosh! "ang SARAP din!" ???? kaya lang, hindi ba medyo mahal ang Php60.00 per piece for small cheese tart? "How much kaya sa Pablo?" But it really taste good, favorite ko na sya. ???? My other favorite is Krone, Php49.00 per piece. The custard filling inside crunchy bread like croissant, my gosh! "Ang SARAP!" Hanjuku Cheese (Japanese Cheesecake) - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 Cheese Tart - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 Krone - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 All of my favorites "MASARAP"... Go and try it. ???????? #ilovetoeat ????❤️ #KumoriPh
I guess I got really overwhelmed by all the cheesy-ness. I tried 3 of their bestsellers. Maybe I got used to Pablo's that's why I was not really that surprised with their cheese tart. I guess they just all taste the same but Kumori is more affordable. Crust is really fragile and filling is just ok. Hanjuku cheese is really enjoyable if eaten straight from fridge. I was not really surprised either, again, I think it's just too much cheese for me. What I loved tho is the krone. The cold custard is really something for a change. Best eaten right away. Affordable compared to other competitors. I might try the choco and matcha variants next time.
Kumori may look like an ordinary Japanese bakery, but the products that they offer tastes extraordinary. Although their products are more expensive compared to other bakeries like, Bread Talk, I guarantee you that Kumori will give you an extraordinary feeling every time you taste their fresh made breads either sweet or savory. I decided to try out their savory breads during my first visit, since I wasn't much of a big fan of sweet breads. I've bought and tried some of the following: ➿Parmesan Cheese Bun➿ ???????? [ Soft creamy melted cheese and Japanese mayonnaise filled bread topped with a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese ] - The bread itself was light and soft. The filling combination of the creamy melted cheese and Japanese mayo gave the bread a nice balance of salty and sweet. I thought the mayo would overpower the flavor of the cheese, but gladly it didn't. One of my favorites that I've tried so far. ➿ Mazzu Chizu Pan ➿ ???????????? [ tomato and herb dough with white sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese ] - I like the idea of the tomato and herb infused dough however, the expected flavor wasn't really present. The white sauce and mozzarella cheese was good but I prefer enjoying it while it's still hot. Overall it wasn't the best, but it was still worth the try. ➿ Sausage Pizza ➿ ???????????? [ soft bread topped with chicken sausage slices and creamy melted cheese with a tomato sauce and creamy mayonnaise drizzle] ➿ Soft Tuna Bun ➿ ???????????? [ soft bread bun infused with a filling of tuna flakes, whole kernel corn and a premium Japanese mayonnaise ] Overall, my first visit at Kumori was great and it certainly won't be my last time here. I hope to come back to try their sweet breads and this time, I'll pair my bread with a hot beverage! ❤️
To be honest, I have never tried the famous cheese tarts like the ones Pablo sell, so I have no point of comparison. ???? Josh gave us a box of 6 signature cheese tarts from Kumori for my mom's birthday, and we all enjoyed it a lot! I was not able to taste it before it was refrigerated, but I loved eating the chilled tarts. The cold crust held everything together pretty well, and it has the right amount of crumble that I like. The cheese filling was quite light, which I also like, because it will be too nakakaumay for me if the filling was too thick. I would also like to taste its warm version, just for comparison. In retrospect, I realized that their version of the cheese tarts reminded me so much of Lord Stow's Egg Tarts, which I also love! I think it's relatively expensive for a small piece of tart though, but it's worth a try. ???? The next time I get a chance to visit their store, I will surely try the Matcha Cheese Tarts! ????
I never liked Matcha not until I have tried Kumori Matcha flavored cheesecake. The flavor is not too dominant, and blends well with cheese. Their version of cheesecake is not so powerful, which is a plus factor for me since it got me craving for more! And the price is really reasonable! Kumori is located at the Supermarket section at the basement of SM Makati. ????
