Donair Affair - Makaoo (Part)

Got the super chicken donair and it was the best tried the lamb before, wasn't as good). The chicken is cooked so well and the flavors are amazing. Only thing is, they don't have pickled turnips :

There was one point where we visited this location multiple times in a week. Okay, let's be honest, that was a few months ago. Donair Affair is a small location with a few tables and window seating. They give you quite a lot of meat for the price and a regular sized donair can easily fill you up. We like to go with the lamb donair but craving a rice dish, I ordered a rice platter with chicken AND lamb. NOM NOM. Although delicious and slathered in sauce (all three!! , I think I'll be sticking to just chicken next time a rice platter is desired (the lamb was a little dry this time .

Excellent Donair reasonable price. The Rice platter with a generous amount of meat (chicken or lamb or beef) comes with a rather small Greek salad dollop of Humus . Very tasty inexpensive dinner.

Safe bet. A bit easy to miss because of the construction outside the unit. Good service and foods. Lots of room for eat in but I exclusive to take out. I personally don 't think it 's worth extra to upgrade your donair to a 'Lebansese ' or one of the many other options like 'Carribean ' As with most Donair places stick to the the Chicken as Beef and Lamb come in that very spam/meat loaf like texture
