It is not my habit to review the premises where I eat, but this time I make an exception for this hidden place in the center of corn, after having taken a couple of frizzy restaurants then renowned of the city, we read the reviews of the quadrifoglio, they were all true, friendly staff and that makes you feel at home, the pizza is great, the first fish of the very fresh day, the second also, the special dessert. that... What User doesn't like about Il Quadrifoglio:
I ordered a beer before I ordered something to eat. I got a foul tasting peroni beer that he poured into eternity. it was obviously the end of the barrel and flat or there was cleaning fluid in the pipes. it was disgusting and unimaginable....The waiter didn't believe me and tried to tell me that it was normal Italian beer, as if I was just a tourist who knows nothing better. So I asked about bottle-black, which was obviously in order. I ordered a pizza that was good, but with too much cheese on it. when paying the bill he will pay me for the foul tasting beer. I know it's small to complain about a beer, but a bad beer is a bad beer. no very nice experience.
We used this place or the times. simply Italian classics like carbonara or risotto. in comparison to some restaurants in the city was very expensive. personal very good.
We ordered pizza proscuitto, schrimp risotto, and linguine seafood. The place did not close down during the riposo, which was when we were out and hungry in town. So maybe not our natural first choice, but fitting for the occasion. The linguine was alright with...vongole, and norway lobster, in a sauce cooked up on white wine. Nothing wrong with it. I've just had this course, done better, and with much more seafood, to go with it. The scrimp risotto, was nothing special. The pizza was alright but a little too dough on the sides for my taste. If you're out like us when all other choices are out, then sure it's ok to have dinner here. But if you have other choices then take a better look around town. There are other places of higher quality that are worth a shot.
