.and this for years. Now it's time to speak a lob. to show the individual criteria is not necessary: everything is best, we were always satisfied. also brought friends have repeatedly visited the athena, and if something really wasn't in order, it was apologised without discussion and regulated in a stateless manner!!!.
What Sergio Marés doesn't like about Athena:
the restaurant is a rustically decorated Greek restaurant with Mediterranean charm. eating was a bit too expensive. who likes gyros, pommes and co. eats, this restaurant is right off! View all feedback.
This is a very welcoming restaurant with a great atmosphere. The decor is Grecian and quite over the top, but in a good way! My wife and I have dined here many times, as I work in Mainz several times a year. This is our...favorite restaurant to visit in the area. The food is always excellent and servings are incredibly generous. One recent highlight was what was described as 'Scampi' which turned out to be some of the most delicious, chunky prawns that my wife has ever tasted. As my office is English speaking, we have never learned German to my shame! but this is no problem, as there is a young lady we believe to be a daughter of the owner, who has perfect English and is a delight to be served by. The menu is unusually long with many delicious options to choose from. On my last visit, I wanted something meaty after the long drive from England. I opted for the chef's surprise grill the surprise was how much choice there was on my plate! We will certainly be visiting again, next time we are in the area and recommend this restaurant very highly
This is a very welcoming restaurant with a great atmosphere. the decor is grecian and at the top, but on a good way! my wife and I have often dimmed here as I work several times in the year in mainz. this is our...cheap restaurant to visit in the opposite. eating is always excellent and the portions are incredibly generous. a new high point was what was described as scampi', which turned out to be some of the most delicious, clobular garnel my wife ever cost. since my office is English speaking, we have never learned German (to my shame, but this is not a problem because there is a young lady (we believe to be a daughter of the owner), who has perfect English and is a joy to serve. the menu is unusually long with many delicious options to choose from. at my last visit, I wanted to see something fleshy after the long journey from england. I chose the overshaving grill of the cook that was overshaving, how much choice it was on my teller! we will certainly visit again, soon we are in the opposite and recommend this restaurant very high.

Beautiful that was open on Monday night. very good freshly prepared meals. for me optimally seasoned gyros and souvlaki. also at the service there was nothing to complain, although we arrived very late.
That breathing has the advantage that it is open on Mondays. in summer there is a nice terrace, in winter the restaurant is practically furnished inside. the service is very friendly and also fast. the card goes over Greek appetizers, salads to the usual "Gree Cellars". but there are also very good "oven dishes" like lammhaxe etc. that for those who are the "Gree Cellars" are a little too little. as an appetizer hallumi - a solid cheese ("Quietsch cheese"), which is actually more known from crypts for € 7.20 good and sometimes something else. the "wet appetizer cellar" is well equipped and with € 7.80 perfectly fit. as a main dish a "Lamm-Filet with Feigen-Creme" for € 16,50 was good. the "Feigen-Addiction" at the time of the season. so the fig addition is also served with pork. as dessert perhaps a yogurt with honey and walnuts is already a Greek standard (for € 3,10).Everything in all a good Greek restaurant - so for "all days," in which the price/performance ratio is quite in order.Knut krabbes
