read moreNestled next to the Maidstone Museum, the Deli Café presents a mixed dining experience for families. While the staff are praised for their friendliness and the café boasts a lovely atmosphere, food quality often disappoints. Many patrons report stale bread and uninspiring, pre-packaged sandwiches, with limited options for young children. The menu lacks coherency, as some advertised items are not available. However, those who delve deeper may discover locally sourced treats, fresh sandwiches, and enticing desserts. Overall, this café has potential but requires significant improvements in food quality and menu clarity to truly enhance the visitor experience.
