I went to check out how the place had changed since I used to visit frequently. Fortunately, the pub hadn't changed much, which is a positive. The owners are still very friendly, and it appears to be managed by their son and his girlfriend, who are also delightful. It was nice to meet the French chef as well. View all feedback.
What Happiness32400903889 doesn't like about Hawkenbury Country Inn:
Went for Sunday lunch to round off a short break in the area. A country pub lives dies on its Sunday lunches this one died a death. Roast potatoes where old too hard to cut into beef was too tough to chew. Given a slight discount for the disappointing meal but the damage was done we left feeling dejected. View all feedback.

Food drinks: Hot dog friday was great didn't realise you could improve a hot dog. But these have. it was great. And with a pint great value to Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value
We checked out the Wednesday steak night. It was fabulous! if you like good steak, superbly cooked and well presented, then I couldn't recommend this place more highly. It's a lot of food for 2 people and would probably work better with 3 or 4 people. Wonderful! Service: 4 Location: 4

Fantastic locaton and venue. Went for lunch on a Saturday and The Hawkenbury burger is a must try. Great outdoor space, so excited to go back when the summer is upon us! A must try! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet, Great value
