Lay Maikhao Seafood - Mai Khao

Very tasty food with friendly people. I know there are another 2 restaurants next to this place (haven't try yet) but this place make me come back because their food and service. Food are very tasty, cheap price (we paid ~300bt for this meal, with free fruits for dessert), and people are very friendly. About 1' walking from Holiday Inn resort Maikhao. Highly recommend!

We ate here three times, each time maximum satisfaction with a well flavored Thai food.

We ate here for 2 nights straight and actually prefer Lay's food to Noonit's Kitchen next door. Our favorite dishes were the pineapple fried rice (best I've tasted ever) and deep fried fish with garlic and pepper. Wallet friendly prices considering the location and portions were generous. Friendly service rounds up our positive experience here.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Mai Khao and we had dinner here for 2 nights straight. Had one of the best pineapple rice ever here, and the deep fried sea bass with garlic and pepper was also outstanding (fish was super fresh and perfectly cooked such that the meat flaked beautifully yet the skin remained super crisp it's so easy to overcook fish when you deep fry it but Lay Maikhao got it just right). Also enjoyed their tom yum goong..you can specify your desired spice level. Round off your meal with the mango sticky rice. Portions are very generous and the prices are reasonable (around 100 150 baht for veg, eggs or meat...a whole fish was 400 baht). Service is warm and friendly. We actually preferred the food here to the more popular Noonit's Kitchen next door.

Lovely Seafood. Attentive Service good value for money. Will definitely recommend authentic dishes cooked to suit ones taste buds.
