Taco's Fresh Sport Cantina - Mahtomedi

I happened to stop by this place since I was in the area and wanted a quick bite. I did not have much expectations because there wasn 't much to show for it. Their signage was not noticable and the only thing that caught my eye were paper cutout words taped on on the windows, e.g. tacos and sushi and pho. Keep in mind, it was around 6pm during the winter, so it was already dark out. Stepped inside and was greeted right away. Was offered a table but I declined. I was in a time crunch so I ordered for take out. Looked at the menu and was pretty surprised at the variations of tacos offered, besides the normal sushi items. I ordered a crispy chicken taco, bulgogi taco, crunchy crab taco and a side of fries. Anndd let me tell you... I was pleasantly surprised. I didn 't have to wait too long for my takeout food and all the tacos were delicious. My favorite out of the three was the cripsy chicken taco, mostly because of the apple slices in it. I was also not expecting an aioli and ketchup to come with the fries so that was a plus. All in all, I would definitely come back to try the other items. Plus, I saw they had Sapporo on tap so I 'm definitely coming during happy hour.

This place was great when it first opened but the sushi fusion thing doesn't work for me. I'm sad to see the changes as the original place was great.

Saw the word taco and stopped in for a couple. Quickly realized that I a sports bar serving sushi and tacos isn't going to be all that satisfying. And, I was right! I'd rather order cat food quality tacos from Taco Hell or Taco John's before ever going back to Taco Fresh. From what I could tell by the menu and guests order the sushi rolls, I highly doubt that's worth order either...

I very much loved their food and service, awesome area next to my apartment. The employees are always very friendly. Would recommend to others.

I like this place! They provide awesome dishes, they have a nice menu, The chief cook in that restaurant is a real authority in the kitchen, I love very much eating all their food. The dishes are always fresh, the service towards the clients is friendly. I visit often this place and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend it to all.
