Service is always changing, food is decent but I do recall a few meals that were kinda blehh. And I really don't mind the atmosphere but it's pretty dingy and unexciting. This is literally the only place to eat in town tho other than the casino or gas station food.

Meh. They were out of a lot of items. Their food wasn't anything special. I could have made a much better BLT. The place is VERY outdated, but the town is tiny, so all of this makes sense. The ladies there were super nice, just wasn't my cup of tea. We needed someplace to eat besides the casino we stayed at and this was literally the only option.

Is this the same red Apple Café that Bob Dylan once bussed tables at?

My husband and I have a fondness for small-town cafes, so we were eager to try the Red Apple. While there’s nothing seriously wrong with it, there’s also nothing outstanding. The place is mostly clean, but the furnishings feel a bit outdated and worn. The food was average—nothing memorable, yet not bad either. However, the service stood out; our waitress was friendly, entertaining, and cheerful, while also being unobtrusive, which is always a plus! Overall, I wouldn’t mind dining there again if it were the only option nearby, but I wouldn’t specifically seek it out or choose it over other places.
