It's a great donut shop! Wish they had more options on the coffee though. Located next to my new doctor's office, Old Rugged Cross, I came here after my blood draw for and fast. Delicious! View all feedback.
What Kellye A doesn't like about Baker's Dozen Kolaches Donuts (magnolia):
Staff is always kind and welcoming but ALL the food tastes and smells like cleaning products. I'm not sure if they store their ingredients in the same storage closet as their cleaning products or maybe they wipe down the surfaces they bake on with those cleaning products but ALL the food here tastes like it was infused with Fabuloso. Literally took one bite and had to throw the all food away. Unfortunate. We'd love t... View all feedback.
I entered the restaurant 30 minutes before closing, not realizing the time. When I asked the lady at the counter how she was doing, she responded that she was just trying to go home. She was quite rude during our entire interaction.
I’m from California and spent two months in Texas for RenFest. This is hands down the best donut shop I’ve ever visited. Their donuts are incredibly delicious, featuring the most decadent and flavorful Bavarian cream I've ever tasted, paired with perfectly crafted donut pastry. But it’s not just about the donuts — the chicken and mushroom pastries are like something straight out of The Shire. The only thing that could possibly match the quality of the food is the service. The staff is consistently warm and welcoming, creating an atmosphere that makes you feel like a regular from the moment you step in. Before leaving Magnolia, the last thing I did was grab a few maple bars to take with me, and they will be the first thing I get when I return. I’d give it a 47 out of 10 and absolutely recommend it!
The reviews for this restaurant are quite mixed, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. I ordered six kolaches, an apple fritter, two chocolate donuts with sprinkles, two without sprinkles, and a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. Everything was absolutely delicious! The jalapeno and cheese kolaches were my favorite, and I’ll definitely be returning for more.
Best bakery in the area! So conveniently located next to a Washateria that we (Tartanic) visit every week! From donuts to some amazing fresh breakfast sandwiches there is just enough pleasant seating and lounge space to enjoy your breakfast while waiting on the dryer next door.
Great baked goods for good price. Can get warm or room temp to heat up later. Gotta get there before 1 pm though. .
