Unfortunately, the platter was average at bes... read more We started with a mixed platter which included salt and pepper squid, cauliflower, chicken tikka, and onion bhaji. Unfortunately, the platter was average at best. The squid portion was disappointing, the chicken was cold but well marinated, and the onion bhaji was not enjoyable due to the old oil taste. However, our main dishes were much better. We shared butter chicken, barramundi curry, aloo gobi, naan, and rice, all of which were delicious. The barramundi was perfectly cooked and the chicken was tasty and tender. The vegetable dish was also very good. The naan and rice complemented the meal well. Unfortunately, the dessert, kulfi, was a letdown. It looked better than it tasted, as the ice cream was icy and had a freezer-burnt taste. Overall, the service was satisfactory. However, I am undecided on whether I would recommend this restaurant. It seems to be hit and miss with some dishes done well and others poorly. Personally, I don't think I would return, but I will remember the positive aspects of our experience.
