that was a good Thai restaurant. it wasn't disappointed. the 6 of us had 7 different dishes. the Thai bark salad and the pad thai were great, like the green curry chicken. the ducks, the evens and the bark dishes were tender, the...prawns were firm and the sweet was perfect. we have no hunger. we will definitely come back. friendly staff and eating came out quickly. What Σολομών Θεοδώρου doesn't like about Baan Thai:
Whilst the flavours are great and service good, the portion size is small and therefore expensive. $15 for a bread and butter plate size of mixed veg is too expensive. Whilst the duck dishes are very flavoursome, they too are small and for $25 its too pricey. A dinner for 2 set us back over $70 and thats with NO alcohol. First time Baan Thai on the weekend. The foods were excellent. Highly recommended if u looking for delicious tasty Thai foods. We had a great night.
Great pad thai. Probably one of the best flavoured and most traditional thai in the area. Service could be better and it was hard communicating with staff.
Surprisingly authentic Thai cuisine- no shortcuts are taken in providing a very broad menu of dishes- from the classics to some lesser known plates. A real gem set modestly in the eastern Adelaide foothills. Delightful!
I've been visiting baan thai for years... it has been my absolute favourite restaurant for quite some time, and still the best thai food I have ever eaten! I adore the prawn cakes, they have the most amazing texture, in addition to the delicious flavour! I've had all the starters at some point, and although I didn't enjoy the fish cakes, every other starter has been superb! The mains are consistently enjoyable, my favourites are choo chee prawns, massaman curry, pad thai, basil beef and the thai fried rice. Although an outing to baan can be slightly expensive, it's defiantly worth it! The service is of a reasonable standard, which conclusively makes for a lovely evening out! I look forward to my next visit!
I love Thai food and this restaurante fulfill my expectations. The rice was very tasty and the vegetables well done. The staff was so friendly and helpfull. Warmer restaurant.
