Food: good spot for madurai delicacies like mutton dishes fish kolambu etc. If you want to enjoy mutton and chicken dishes with authentic cooking in madurai style then you will like it. There is no place for parking car, you can consider using the temple grounds nearby paid parking for car parking which we did to have your car a bit more safer. Staff: We need to remember they are a mess. Their intent is operating still in the olden days mode. They intend to get you the best food at the earliest possible are sometimes like curious onlookers which can be avoided. Also, the continuous asking for more serving more food may not be liked by all. Overall their intent is good, but customers may react differently Food: We had tried the briyani, mutton nenju curry, mutton chukka, fish fry, kola urundai, etc. The taste was good on all the food. I had second thoughts only on the chicken provided in the briyani which was not tender enough for me. Many items were not available as we had gone a bit too late. Specific items to highlight would be kola urundai nenju curry. Price: As most people had reviewed, the place is a bit pricey, closer to a metro city prices. It can be lesser considering the ambiance, service, etc. but the taste compensates.
