That is precisely why I feel it is important to share an honest, constructive review—directed first and foremost at the owner of this establishment, who, I’m sure, carries the responsibility of this family business with great personal investment. I hope this feedback reaches him. General Impressions We do not speak Spanish, but in a well-run restaurant, that should never be a problem. Unfortunately, from the moment we entered the restaurant, we encountered disorganized service and a notable lack of attention from the staff. Service Experience The overall service was indifferent and slow. I had to ask three different waiters for a beer before it was eventually brought to the table—nearly an hour later. Even after we tasted and confirmed our wine selection, it was only served following an additional reminder. No staff member made any effort to assist us with the menu or offer recommendations. Interaction was minimal and impersonal. The starters and main dishes were brought out with long delays. One guest received their meal, the second received theirs some time later, and the third had to wait an additional 20 minutes. As a result, we couldn’t begin dinner together. It’s worth noting the restaurant was only about 20% full at the time, so the delays cannot be attributed to a high volume of customers. Even our attempt to order a second round of drinks was ignored. Staff simply didn’t return to the table for long periods of time. Additional Incidents After an hour and a half in the restaurant, we still hadn’t received our starters. Repeated attempts to get updates were disregarded. Meanwhile, we watched as guests who arrived later were served quickly and efficiently—highlighting a clear inconsistency in service. One especially disappointing moment involved a signature Spanish dish—fried green peppers—which we had enjoyed during previous visits. This time, the waiter accepted the order and even asked how many we wanted. Yet later, a bartender came over and casually informed us they were unavailable. This lack of internal communication was frustrating. Eventually, one of the servers took away our plates without even asking if we had finished eating. That alone speaks volumes about the attentiveness of the staff. Payment Experience We requested the bill and clearly stated we wanted to pay by card. The check was brought after 10 minutes, but it then took another 15 minutes for someone to bring a payment terminal. When no one arrived, a second staff member finally showed up after another 10 minutes to process the payment. The entire checkout process took over 30 minutes. Conclusion After such a disorganized and inattentive dining experience, it became difficult to even evaluate the food itself. Perhaps it was good, but unfortunately, the overall experience completely overshadowed that aspect. As someone who also runs a business, I understand the weight of responsibility and how valuable direct customer feedback is. I sincerely hope the owner sees this review not as criticism, but as a call for reflection and improvement.
