Great fish and seafood, go... read more Fully packed and with just a few stools, this hectic taberna serves very tasty Spanish fare in one of Madrid's upscale neighborhoods. Great fish and seafood, good jamón and tapas. Full of locals, off the beaten path. Not sure anyone in the staff will speak...English though, but they're efficient and outgoing, so that shouldn't be an issue. I always wonder why foreign visitors to Spain aren't a little more adventurous and go where the locals go. This place is a worthwhile first step in that direction. You can't go wrong here. Was my first visit, won't be my last. Expect however a fully packed place, with little personal space.

The people who go there are mostly locals and my fri... read more There are multiple Cazorla restaurants in Madrid, but this is the one I have been to on multiple occasions. The people who go there are mostly locals and my friend discovered this one by mistake. They serve all types of tapas here. Very simple unpretentious...food but very tasty. They have some barrels inside as tables and people as mostly sitting either around a barrel or at the bar. Staff is very good, very fast, and they give you some free tapas the more drinks you order. We have been there so many times that they just knew us there and always accommodated us at one of the barrel tables. This is not a luxurious restaurant in any way but I definitely recommend it for local flavour.
