To begin with, the wine came in a filthy container, literally float... read more Don’t eat here if you’re visiting Madrid. We ordered the ‘menu’ and the food was pretty bad. To begin with, the wine came in a filthy container, literally floaters inside. And the white house wine was just bad, like watery or something. The carpaccio salad had decent flavour but the vegetables had been cut hours ago and were dry and almost shrivelling. The eggplant also had good flavour but it wasn’t fresh and the ‘melted’ cheese on top was dry. The ribs had good flavour but had also been reheated. And the chicken and rice were just drab — you could make it yourself at home. For dessert I just went for the melon as I didn’t want to take any risks. The place is nice and so are the waiters but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, even at that price point.
