Our waiter, from the Phili... read more This is a lovely restaurant with great food and very attentive and helpful staff. We enjoyed our meals and the service was excellent. Our waiter, from the Philippines was excellent. We also met a women, the manager I think and she was also very helpful. I asked her about getting a taxi back to the hotel and she walked us up to the main road and showed us exactly where to go. This restaurant provided the best customer service that we have received in Spain.

Wandered around for 10 minutes or so thin... read more First things first, we booked through the web site for 7.30 and arrived to find the restaurant closed and in darkness. Wandered around for 10 minutes or so thinking about what to do and went back to find the lights on at least. Finally caught someone’s attention who then informed us the restaurant did not open until 8. Found a nearby cocktail bar to wait out the time and spent yet more money while we waited for them to open. Not the best start but when we got in eventually the food and service were OK, nothing memorable. The fiasco with the website booking times and the actual opening time probably coloured my review somewhat!

We found Public and decided to head there based on what we had seen online. Incredibly surprised at the amazing atmosphere, impeccable service and absolutely fantastic value for money on the food. I would come back in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a good Spanish meal with friends, family or a business associate. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
