I 've been coming to La Pródiga since 2013 and I love it, my dad is from Argentina and this is the only place where I 've found the best empanadas in Madrid, th... read more I 've been coming to La Pródiga since 2013 and I love it, my dad is from Argentina and this is the only place where I 've found the best empanadas in Madrid, the entraña steak is juicy, cook to the right point, the provoleta is delicious as well, if you just want to grab a bite, choose the 'choripan ' is excellent!!. You can tell the quality and freshness of the ingredients and thats why the menu has just the right amount of dishes to choose from. I like to come back here each time I can, even if I dont live in Madrid any more, it 's a place where you can come to eat, have a beer or just have some drinks with your friends. If you like Gin&Tonic, they have a nice selection to choose from and also several spices to prepare them. The restaurant has been recently renovated with an organic style, it offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, besides you are in the heart of Malasaña!. The owner who is also the cook and the staff are very friendly, I feel like home when I come. The best of all are the prices!! for the quality and the portions it is not expensive at all..Can´t wait to come back :D
