Situated just off El Rastro market, you'll find the most delicious and authentic Moroccan food. Service is friendly and efficient and the environment is atmospheric. The prices are very reasonable indeed. Obviously a big favourite with the local crowd. Well worth a visit.
Food is very good and service is very friendly. We ordered lamb tallin, and grilled lamb. We also got their mint tea. We'd highly recommend. Disagree with last tourist who said this is a dangerous area and not for tourists. I think that person needs to stay home. :
We visited this restaurant based on nice review we found on a local food blog (Naked Madrid). I don't recommend this restaurant for tourists because it is located in a dangerous neighborhood (Lavapies). I wish I would have researched the neighborhood before going. The service at the restaurant was very good, however, the food was only “ok” definitely not worth the trip out of the city center. We ordered the lamb Tajine and it was dried, so we decided not to order anything else. In summary, far from city center, not recommended for tourists due to safety issues and food only ok. Nice place to come in the centre of Madrid... the area is really good is in the heart of La Latina... Nice food and they taking care of their customer.... I recommend
Moroccan restaurant equipped with an interior room and numerous tables outside. often crowded but the spare of customers is continuous and insured by a fast and hand staff. dishes are the classics of North African tradition, from legumes (lenticchie and cannellini beans) to various types of cous cous and tajin (of chicken, beef and lamb), all served with plenty of vegetables and sometimes fruit (prugs, raisins, apricots.) to drink, no alcohol is needed but mint and infusions. local without frills, prices contained.
