The restaurant offered a complete menu (first meal, second meal, sweet or coffee, drink) for 10.50 at lunchtime. I tried black rice and a particular type of codfish and I was really satisfied by the taste, abundant portion and service. Just one problem: no English speakers

We had walked past previously but it look... read more This place was close to our hotel (Mercure Plaza De Espana) and we wanted an afternoon meal before heading to airport. We had walked past previously but it looked more basic cafe from outside. Were given 2 menus, the general one and a special. We wanted something of the special but it was a two course but eventually went with that. Once inside, it grew on us. Nice surroundings, TV screens all around but it was VERY warm inside. I had Gaspaccio (sp) soup to start, can't remember what wife had. We both had the beef Fajita for mains which was one big Fajita with lots of fries. It was lovely. My wife had a glass of wine and I had a Sangria as I hadn't had one yet. Went to pay and it was only 24 eu. A set menu for 12 eu each. I pointed out they hadn't charged us for the drinks but she pointed out they were included! That was great value. A nice place to relax with food and drink with very good service, but it really was too hot in there.
