Not interesting food. Dull. Bad service. Asked for bottle of water (with the meal for two , had to ask for glaces (drink from the bottle? , got just one.
Yes, Indian restaurants also have a daily menu. We had the vegetarian and the one with meat. Onion Bahij, samoza for starters and Saag paneer and lamb curry for main. Not the best we ever had but we had a nice lunch for a good price. Papadum, drinks and dessert included. On the Calle Lavapies are a dozen Indian restaurants next to eachother, so take your pick.
Great place, great fond, and great réception. Thanks ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
My wife and I struggle with restaurant food, as our healthy eating decision (and Jill's severe dairy allergy) restricts us. Our waiter Akash, see picture, knew some English and made sure that we got what we needed. Jill overheard Akash giving instructions to the cooking staff. We enjoy Indian food back in Canada, and this eating experience was second to none. We chose the Onion Bhajis (grain free, totally ungreasy), Aloo Gobi (curry potato cauliflower) along with the best (non greasy) pappadams ever. Everything was the best. We will be doing a blog soon, highlighting how and where to become and stay healthy. Calcuta will be in the blog. Akash bid us farewell in a very kind and respectful way. A 10 out of 10.
