Definitely a cornerstone in the municipality. The only downfall isn't music outside. Someone who should stay in the suburbs decided to complain about the noise while living in a city on a very busy block. What User doesn't like about Up North Pub:
I would never return to this bar. Blatant disrespect and omission to provide service while at the bar for 10 minutes. There was only one bartender working, yet proceeds to have conversation with patron. Once finally carrying on and finishing their chat, bartender walks away from behind the bar right past me and leaves the entire bar unoccupied! Legitimate North Ambiance, reminds me of Eagle River. Live music Monday Friday is a good way to see some local actions. Great drinks!
Large bar with friendly staff, live music and ample outdoor seating. Majeska Monday on the first Monday of every month is always a great time! 2 mixed drinks have the same whammy of 3 drinks elsewhere. Great value
The concoctions brewed at this tavern exceed even the great Half-Blood Prince’s skill. I was served an ice tea that turned the floor beneath me to a solid ocean who’s unpredictable waves left me debilitated. It’s deceptive sweetness was unaccompanied by the burn of it’s ingredients. I shall order these potions for my enemies before snuffing them from existence in their moment of weakness.
