The Daily Scoop Union South - Madison

This restaurant is located inside the Union South building. I stopped by for a quick lunch and ordered a burrito, which was quite tasty. The pork looked the most flavorful based on its appearance, so I chose that option, and it did not disappoint. I also added some guacamole, which complemented it nicely. It has a Chipotle-style vibe to it.

During our first and only visit, my coworkers and I ordered burritos and were taken aback by the fact that we paid full price for burritos that were less than half the size of those available just a few blocks away at a chain Mexican restaurant. While the flavors of the ingredients were good, the steep prices will likely lead us to choose lunch options elsewhere in the future.

This used to be my favorite restaurant on campus, but this year I've noticed a significant decline in the amount of ingredients the staff includes in my burritos and bowls. The difference is so pronounced that I can hardly justify spending my money here anymore, as I'm paying the same price for much less food.

Ate here twice, the first the food was good and I really liked it so I went back a couple days later. I got a chicken burrito, it was good and I got 3/4 through the burrito and I looked down and guess what I saw. Raw chicken. I am currently fighting for my life right now, so if you go be aware of the chicken you are consuming because it may be raw. Overall, the flavor was good but the chicken was not...
