Checked this place out on a weekday for lunch on a whim with my husband. I had actually been a couple months in, on a no-meat diet and wasn't sure what I'd be able to find on the menu, that would agree with me, but hesitantly agreed to eat here. Ordering is done at the counter, and there are two dining rooms from which you can select seating. I actually ended up choosing a pulled pork sandwich and surprisingly enjoyed it! Really great smoked flavor, and tender meat. A choice of BBQ sauce flavors and heat levels are available that you can pump out into a cup yourself from a counter at the end of the room. If I were to have a pulled pork craving, this would be my second choice. My first and favorite choice is Bob's Bitchin' BBQ in Dodgeville. That BBQ Joint is a great choice for no-frills nicely done BBQ meat. It can get quite busy during the lunch hour, so be aware of that if you're stopping on your lunch break. I recommend calling ahead for pick up if time is an issue.

This place is pretty good The staff is really nice and helpful The ribs are tender and tasty and they have a delicious side order of chili available.

I checked this place on a weekday to lunch with my man. I was actually a few months in, on a No-Fleisch diet and was not sure what I was able to find on the menu that would match me, but hesitantly agreed to eat here. the order is made at the theke, and there are two dining rooms from which they can choose seating. I have actually chosen a drawn pork sandwich and surprisingly enjoyed it! really great smoked taste and delicate meat. a selection of BBQ sauces and heat levels are available that they can pump into a cup themselves from a counter at the end of the room. if I had a vertebrate, that would be my second choice.

This place is the real deal. the smell of the smoker is the best ambiente of all. the ripening, chili and bbq sauces were great. the ruin on the ribs was perfect, with a hauch of brown sugar w/ the seasoned. the meat had the perfect amount of tug. I hope they are able to scale because I see that popularity rises as soon as the word comes out. hopefully they offer more locally grown/bred meats in the future.
