I opted for a tall double shot mocha with whole milk and three petite vanilla bean scones. I had initially planned to get just one scone, but since Starbucks had a special, I decided to indulge and get three instead. The cashier quickly handed us the lemon cake and scones. After about ten minutes, I received my tall double shot mocha. However, my wife received the wrong order—a cold caramel latte—so her drink had to be remade. Once she got her hot tall double shot caramel latte, she was pleased. Our beverages were warm and comforting, and the iced lemon pound cake was fresh and moist. The vanilla bean scones had a delightful sweet biscuit-like flavor, and the vanilla bean taste was quite enjoyable. Starbucks is a popular spot among college students and business associates, offering a quiet atmosphere for meetings and relaxation. We appreciate treating ourselves to their excellent coffee, lattes, and mochas every now and then, even though it can get a bit pricey. However, they are consistent with their recipes, which is a plus. The staff was always friendly and professional. I would have given it five stars just for that and the amazing staff, who generously gave me a complimentary protein box after I accidentally dropped mine. However, I have to take off a star due to the broken nitro machine.
