Best baked cod in Madison. Every Friday, the owner personally cooks a limited number of baked cod dishes. When they're gone, they're gone. Come early if you want to try to offer the best arm-man's-lobster Madison.
As neighborhood bars go, this is one of the best in Madison! Friendly staff fast service. 1/4 or 1/2 pound Cheeseburgers on a buttered toasted bun are top notch. Fries are thick cut and not too deep fried. Always enjoy my visits when I get my cheeseburger cravings! Thanks! PS I’m only scoring on food staff because I don’t drink alcohol.
This place is a hidden treasure. I?m risking hipsters invading it by saying so. The lunch and dinner specials are tremendous, the cook is laser fast, the tenders and waitresses are attentive. The prices are far lower than places like Dexters or the TipTop and the food is as delicious. I definitely recommend a burger or the Friday fish fry. A wonderful working class bar that issadly lacking in the ?New Madison.?
Was here for the Halloween party! It was so much fun. The food spread was absolutely amazing!!! The music was at a great level where we could hear it, but still all talk to each other. Everyone was kind and the bartenders were wonderful. Couldn?t haveasked for better.
