Red - Madison

This is the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to. If you have never tried sushi before, this is the perfect place to do so. We ordered the Super Volcano roll on the left and the Mermaid roll on the right. Each bite was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth. The ingredients were fresh and perfectly prepared. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I have been here before, but this is my first Google review for this restaurant! I visited their previous location years ago and returned on a Sunday night. I was pleased to sit at the sushi bar and enjoyed the ambiance and service. The sushi was delicious. I look forward to visiting again when I am in town.

This is the best sushi restaurant in town and is perfect for a Date Night. The ambience is great with a red interior theme. Friday nights tend to be busy so I recommend making a reservation. The chef and waitress were both kind. The Red Signature Roll is amazing, with a mini explosion of flavors in every bite. The ingredients were fresh and the food presentation was appetizing. If you want to see the chefs in action, ask for a seat at the cooking table. The waitress was friendly and provided great service. Sitting by the window on a winter night with Sangria and sushi is a perfect combination. Outdoor seating is also available. The main entrance is located in a building facing southeast and is wheelchair accessible. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant and highly recommend it to sushi lovers.

Service is wonderful! Was concerned because 6 tables were the same time we sat and we had to do the show, but everything came out very quickly. Sushi is fresh and delicious! Very recommended, even if you are full, splurge on the Sorbet you will not regret it!

Gorgeous interior with great food and drinks! There is a great patio for outdoor dining as well. The waitstaff are all incredibly nice and helpful. This was our first time at Red and we'll definitely be returning! The cocktails were impressive and delicious, and all with the sake and/or Japanese whiskeys did a great job with balancing the flavors while maintaining the Japanese focus. Very, very good. The sushi rolls were quite experimental and delightful this is sushi I don't believe I'd find anywhere else in Madison, especially with the seasonal rolls! Tons of creative options that are all well balanced, delicious, and presented beautifully. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The hostesses also gave us the option to sit outside if we wanted. My fiance and I ordered five rolls since we wanted to try many of the flavors, and our waitress divided up the order so they wouldn't crowd the table. Incredibly considerate and thoughtful. We had a lot of fun at Red and we'll absolutely be returning!
