Perkins Bakery - Madison

Very comfortable atmosphere with friendly servers. I was seated quickly, the waitress took my order and in less than fifteen minutes my meal was served! I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and a salad. The food was very tasty but the portions could be just a little bigger. The service was very good, the price was quite reasonable, restaurant was clean and it's within walking distance of several hotels on that block. If I'm in the area again I'll most certainly be back!

Have eaten at Perkins many times and always had good food. However, this time there was an extra charge on our bill other than tax. We asked the waitress what this was for and she stated a supply charge. WHY????? Went to Denny's today and no charge! We will not be going back! Perhaps other customers will feel this way also. You are turning customers away because of this!

The portions were so small! Taste was awful, breaded shrimp was greasy. Prices are too high for the amount of food you get. Had to wait almost 10 mins, after asking twice, for my grandsons cookies that came with their meal. Never asked if we wanted a soda refill, dessert, or even cleared our plates until almost 15 mins after we were done eating. The grandsons were done earlier than that. Had to wait for someone to come to the counter and take our money. She never said sorry for the wait, how was your meal, or even a goodbye. This was my mom's favorite restaurant, but will not go back. They even stopped making their Eclairs!

Food was delicious. I have been going to the same location for many years! My most recent visit to Perkins I had the Boston Creme Pancakes (a la carte) and the Big Country Skillet. The pancakes were a little too sweet but the skillet was amazing!!

We were traveling through on a family trip, 12 of us and we had a very good experience at this restaurant. Hospitality, they seated us promptly, the food was delicious! Definitely would stop here again!
