Reviews summary
Laredos Mexican Restaurant in Madison has received a mix of reviews, with some customers praising the delicious food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Dishes such as the Enchiladas Poblanas and beef hardshell tacos were particularly well-received. The salsa and chips were also mentioned as standout items. However, some customers felt that the quality of the food had declined compared to previous visits. Overall, Laredos seems to be a hit or miss depending on the day and who is cooking.

Laredo's has long been my favorite go to Mexican place. The food is great, pretty much what you expect, and comes out incredibly fast. Service has always been wonderful. Wish my kids would expand their palates a bit, but until then they have burgers and mac& cheese available.
We were very satisfied with Laredo?s from start to finish! We had four people who arrived separately and the staff greeted each one of us! Our waiter was very courteous and offered us drink options and delivered two rounds of chips and salsa. The food washot and exceptionally delicious! We were not rushed and the waiter was very timely and attentive to all our needs. We highlyrecommend this place!
Wow. This place far surpassed our expectations. We came here UW graduation weekend because a lot of other places weren't available. Little did we know, the salsa is delicious, the service was speedy (I'm talking no longer than 30 seconds between youasking for an extra salsa and it coming to your table), and the food was fantastic. Each person at my table ordered somethingdifferent and we all were very impressed with our food. The desserts as well, fried rice cream and chimi-cheesecake, weretotally both standouts. Overall, if I was a Madison resident, this place would be my go-to.
Come to this Madison east location regularly. The food has always been good even when getting takeout. Something about the soda tastes better than just normally buying coke as they have extra syrup or something.... Service has never been bad and ifthe waitress has not been able to keep up, the manager will step in without me ever having to wave someone down.

I ordered beef nachos through DoorDash. Instead of a fully prepared dish, I received separate bowls of ingredients and a bag of chips. There were no plates or utensils provided. The quality of the food was average at best. Overall, a disappointing experience.
First of all, the atmosphere was very outdated and reminiscent of the 90's. There is definitely room for improvement in terms of modernizing the restaurant. The food was subpar and the portions were quite large.

We love the staff on the east side. Always happy to see you and quick service. The food is hot and fast to the table. Go on the weekends and they have a guacamole cart that just can't be beat!

Yall are crazy if you think This place is terrible. Hit it with the right cook at the right time of the day and you'll get the best tex-mex food of your life. So. Good.
First time here. I had the stuffed poblano. It was excellent tons of cheese and a nice flavor. Husband had combo 17 and liked it as well. Chips salsa were good. Premium margarita was perfect. Prices were very reasonable. We'll be back next time through Madison.
Get the chimi cheesecake for dessert! YUM! Also, wait staff is super friendly and very accommodating.

Come regularly into this Madison east position. The food has always been good, even if you express yourself. Wasn't too busy the Monday night we went. Husband and I were seated pretty quickly. Chips and salsa were given while we looked through the menu. Lots of options and it was hard to choose what to get! We got nachos as an appetizer. They were delicious. Husband ended up choosing a fajita skillet and I choose enchiladas. Everything came out hot and it all tasted great! We had plenty to take home, and they gave us styrofoam boxes to do so. I do wish that the table service was a bit quicker, with how slow the restaurant was. I felt like we waited kinda long to be helped at first. The decor, atmosphere and music were very nice. I will be back!

Decent authentic Mexican restaurant in Madison east side. Prices are good and weekend menus are going to be little heavy portion on quantity if you had chips and guacamole. Weekdays lunch menu portion is decent enough. They have soda, lemonade and alcohol available. Customer service is great.
