Very warm service from people working here.

I stopped in... read more Located in the main lobby of Grand Central, a student housing complex in the heart of UW-Madison's campus, this small cafe is a pleasant surprise. I stopped in for a quick coffee before class and was delighted with the exceptional batch brew from Kickapoo Coffee, one of the top roasters in the country. Despite the long wait and limited space, this place has all the charm of a genuine coffee shop and serves up great coffee.

The barista was very knowledgeable about coffee and flavor shots, and created the most stunning mocha for my friend. The pastries, sourced from Madison Sourdough, were excellent. One of the things I love most about Java Den is the wide range of flavor shots they offer. It makes it convenient and affordable to enjoy a delicious drink on the go. I will definitely be returning.
