Grounded Coffee - Madison

This is my new go to spot for an iced Ameicano, I highly recommend you stop by and try them out. Can't wait until the coffee ship opens here, it will be a fantastic addition to the community and surrounding area.

This is a great place to have a cup of coffee or a meeting.

Very friendly baristas. Coffee is medium roast. Their blueberry muffins are amazing. Cheery atmosphere. They have a drive thru as well. I ordered a plain latte as well.

Today was my first time here. The lady who helped me was very kind and informative about the drinks and the food. She also made sure my drink was sweet enough before i left and kindly added more suger for me. They were also very fast getting my order. I will definitely be back to try a different drink next time!

A year ago, I was taking my wife to the hospital for an outpatient procedure (not an emergency) and swung by to get a coffee to go, support local businesses, etc., as they are right across the street from my neighborhood. After placing my order and paying, I waited. And waited. And waited. For a simple drip coffee. No latte art. Too old. Asked, politely, the barista how much longer and he snapped at me. As I didn't have a [expletive deleted] half hour to wait, I walked out and swore that I would never return. No coffee. No refund. Empty handed. Today I was in a forgiving mood and tried again. After sitting in the drive thru lane for 10 minutes behind someone who MUST have ordered for 50 people (an exaggeration, sure), I again gave up. No coffee, again, but the louts didn't get my money this time.
