Dumpling Haus is one of our favorite spots for Asian cuisine in Madison. Conveniently situated in Hilldale Mall, it’s the perfect place to grab a bite after a shopping trip. We appreciate the bright atmosphere created by the glass walls that line both sides of the restaurant. The menu, beautifully handwritten in a chalkboard style, greets you at the entrance. The seating includes a noodle bar as well as tables for four, all set in a minimalist decor.

The dumplings are fantastic, made with fresh ingredients and offering a delightful variety of flavors. We were never let down by our meals and plan to return when we visit Madison again in early summer. EDIT: We returned and enjoyed it just as much as before. The mall itself seems to be struggling in its indoor area (though the outdoor shops are thriving), but Dumpling Haus continues to be a favorite of ours.
