Tried for the first time just this week and would give unlimited stars. Amazing variety and great prices. Blue cheese and spinach bagel was particularly delicious, but cheddar and sesame varieties were also great! Looking forward to trying more soon. View all feedback.
What Connor Bush doesn't like about Cohen's Bagel Company:
Love the food, we always place online orders and the past three visits they have missed something or replaced it with a different item entirely. Extremely unprofessional staff and poor service. View all feedback.
This is a reliable bagel spot with delicious coffee. They offer a wide variety of sandwiches and a great selection of bagels and cream cheeses. One thing I think they should consider adding is Taylor ham (also known as pork roll) for those classic pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwiches. If you know, you know! I have no doubt it would be a best-seller!
I stopped for a bagel before my crew and I began an outdoor job next door. The bagel was the BEST I ever had!! But that is not the most impressive part. We were working in 96 degree heat and their staff brought us ice water, not once but twice! Itseems rare, nowadays, that people notice let alone take the time to do something. The staff here is amazing, kind and friendly. As a business owner, that speaks to their culture. I will gladly support a local business like Cohens. Thankyou!! Matt Signarama- Vernon, CT
Most recently, I visited for bagel sandwiches around noon on a weekday, and when I opened the boxes, I discovered there were no bagel chips included. When I asked the employee, I was told they were in the process of making them and that it would be a while before any were ready. Unfortunately, neither the person who took my order nor the one who handed me my food mentioned that the bagel chips were unavailable, which was frustrating since I only found out upon opening the box. Since bagel chips are included in the sandwich price, I would have expected this to be communicated beforehand. This is particularly surprising for a bagel shop, especially at lunchtime when they should have more than enough chips available. Additionally, I've had experiences where there were limited bagel choices late in the morning or instances where pickles were missing, only to be informed that they had run out after I inquired. While the pickles are less critical, the staff should be aware of their inventory and should be able to restock if necessary. It shouldn't be a supply chain issue at this point. Despite these occasional shortcomings with missing items or limited bagel options, my wife and I continue to enjoy the sandwiches. However, the absence of the bagel chips is particularly disappointing for us, as we really appreciate having them as part of our meal.
It used to be fantastic! However, in the past few months, the service and timeliness have significantly declined. When I place an online order, it states a wait time of 0-5 minutes, but it actually takes 30 minutes for the order to be ready. On top of that, I don't receive a text notification for another 2-3 hours. If you don't go in right away and wait for your order, you might never find out when it's actually ready. Please address these issues.
The nicest staff ever. They really do care! Not exaggerating at all. The bagel itself was amazing. Very much like a New York bagel! I had onion. Breakfast places in CT rarely carry that flavor, and if they do, it's bad. This was a fantastic onion bagel.
