If you are looking for authentic Malaysian food, you must go and have a meal here. Good service, large portions and very tasty food. Accommodates large groups - we have always gone for large family gatherings. Highly recommended. View all feedback.
What Noël Bonnet doesn't like about Sambal:
The food was very authentic and our friends who are from that part of the world loved it. The seating is a bit uncomfortable but the service was very attentive and the meals were lovely and hot when they came to the table. Only complaint was that we had to go to McDonalds next door afterwards for a coffee as they do not serve it and the desserts are not what westerners would expect. View all feedback.

Nice Malaysian food and good service. Unfortunately it's closing down soon.
The best Malaysian restaurant in Sydney. The char kuey teow is always on point.
Though of trying this restaurant, ordered a few items bellow with comments: Hokkian noodle teste good, but small portion Nasi lemak beef rendang nasi lemak lack of coconut flavour, Sambal is salty (not nice) Ice kacang big portion but no kacang Kuih small portion, teste soso Rojak Mamak sauce not peanutty enough Nice settings, service is good. Overall price on the med high end. Will most probably not going for 2nd time.
