Contribute FeedbackKhao Pla offers a mixed dining experience. Some diners found the Pad Siew and Pad Thai too salty or too sweet, while others enjoyed dishes like pork belly stir fry and duck curry. Service was a common issue, with mistakes in orders and slow response times. The restaurant’s size and popularity were noted as positive points, but others criticized the extra charge for electronic payments. Despite inconsistent service, Khao Pla was praised for its tasty food and generous portions. Overall, a diverse range of opinions highlights both the strengths and weaknesses of this establishment.
They know how to cook an omelet! I had Smoked salmon and spinach with avocado on the side and hollandaise. It was cooked to perfection! My drink was mint tea with cinnamon..
The food was excellent and they accommodated gluten-free and vegetarian dietary restrictions.
Visiting Khao Pla in the Macquarie Shopping Centre is always something I always look forward to. I am never disappointed. Thank you.
I have frequented this restaurant many times for lunch, but decided to try it for dinner this time. The fried chicken and crying tiger (beef) were delicious, however the fried mushrooms tofu was disappointing - too dry and salty. It took about 5 minutes after our food was served for us to receive our cutlery (they said they were waiting for clean ones). The staff was friendly. Overall, this visit was not as enjoyable as previous ones, but I will give it another try in the future to see if it improves. Lunch here is always great.
I frequently eat at Khao Pla and I am always impressed! The service is excellent, the food is consistently fresh and delicious. Even though I have recently changed jobs and now have to travel a bit further to get to Macquarie Park, that won't deter me from continuing to dine at Khao Pla.
