The bos... read more While driving through the nice city of Mâcon in south Burgundy, I happen to walk around the city center and discovered the only Shushi Bar in this town. The boss who is not japanese, really enjoys his work and has a great knowledge of sushi and sashimi made the traditionnal way. We had a great time there although the place is small but the atmosphere is close to what I have encountered in Tokyo and Kyoto. Choice is made on a computer but the rest is hand made like it is supposed to be. Three beers to choose from : Asahi, Kirin and Sapporo ... What else ? I highly recommend Sushi Iro to the japanese cooking fans passing through town. Go, Suhi Iro, go !!!

The sushi i... read more Been here around 7:30PM, the place is really small and therefore we sat outside. There is only 1 person in the restaurant who is preparing the food. The sushi is really good and very fresh. I have nothing bad to say on this sushi place, for European standards this is a great place to eat sushi. If you have been in Japan, you will notice some differences in flavor, but be honest, it is never the same thing in Europe as in Japan. Good place, highly recommended

I'm giving one instead of one because the infrastructure is special with a part self-control and beer that was over, but still tasted good. A tip for the owner when you're open to an alternative concept, but I repeat, good sushi or windows expect.
