Super polished I asked him if he had the... read more Yes the boss is a little special so I've been doing some cash because I knew his reputation and I wasn't disappointed. Super polished I asked him if he had the card for an order to take away. He told me very dryly the screens at the reception (very well done.) I ordered and he calmed down. sushi are home and made to order so as to say that they are perfect freshness but it is expensive. Unfortunately for the price we still have more sushi in the big cities but here he knows. It's the only sushi in town.

At first, the boss may seem remote but if you take the time, it is very nice and hyper pro. as to sushi, sashimis and others, it is simply perfect: fresh and tasty. A treat. nothing to envy Japanese restaurants in Paris or Lyon! on the price nothing to say. everything is done on demand and an irreproachable freshness. I don't mind putting the price for such quality.

The bos... read more While driving through the nice city of Mâcon in south Burgundy, I happen to walk around the city center and discovered the only Shushi Bar in this town. The boss who is not japanese, really enjoys his work and has a great knowledge of sushi and sashimi made the traditionnal way. We had a great time there although the place is small but the atmosphere is close to what I have encountered in Tokyo and Kyoto. Choice is made on a computer but the rest is hand made like it is supposed to be. Three beers to choose from : Asahi, Kirin and Sapporo ... What else ? I highly recommend Sushi Iro to the japanese cooking fans passing through town. Go, Suhi Iro, go !!!
