The n... read more We arrived late in Macon, and found Le Voltaire (228 Quai Lamartine) by chance just what we wanted, somewhere comfortable to relax and enjoy a few drinks! The new owner could not have been more welcoming, he is putting a lot of effort into creating a lovely environment. The local wines he recommended were good. There's also a wide range of cocktails and beer. We had a cheese platter which was tasty, and there is a full menu. Le Voltaire is well worth a visit, and we are looking forward to going again.
