Waffle House - Macon

Only 2 other tables were occupied when we came in. We came in and waited a long time, over 20 minutes, for service. We made an All star order and a 2 egg breakfast. Nothing special. Just grits and o/m eggs. We told the server I was hard of hearing and then he started whispering and never came back to my table. After an hour and a half, (and the same 2 other tables were there) we never got out meat, drinks, silverware, napkins, butter, syrup. When we asked if we could have a fork the cook yelled from across the room that they were busy. We said it was ok... just watching our food go cold.. after a total of an hour and a half the server came up and said he didn't charge us for our drinks. Ok, but I'm still thirsty. I was charged $17 even and still wated 20 minutes to get my debit card back.One server and 3 tables and all of us were in there the whole time.

Store evil workers play and talk on the phone running in and out of the back door w with bad speech not to eat a family place

I want this particular 0 star rating! the service was absolutely terrible! I had to wait over 15 minutes to get an orange juice. we waited for over 30 minutes to get our food, and then it was only half-warm, and my grumbs were lumpy and had no butter. but the cook and the waitress were too busy playing on the phone and talking to each other to do their job. If I ever return and work the same people, I will not eat there! it was totally ridiculous!

Love the crew working on the gray highway waffle house. sweet, funny and always engaging.

Friendly service. They don't serve hot tea because someone sued them. Even though they still have hot coffee. Go figure. They also had no salsa for their breakfast bowls. But other than that, the food was good and hot.
