Was Brian Bowen at Cox Cafe a mag?
The staff is always friendly here. Their fried chicken, so good. And they are the only place in Macon that has fried corn bread. Not a hoe cake, fried corn bread. The cabbage could have used a bit more flavor. It could seem a bit sketchy at first but the food is worth it. View all feedback.

In an industrial area, so it was a bit unexpected. Eggs were cooked to order, and everything else was prepared so it was really fast. Sausages were delicious, and I believe homemade, I had the spicy and smoked.

Cox Cafe is nestled on the old industrial side of downtown Macon, about 6 blocks away from MLK.

I could eat here every meal. Breakfast is great, Lunch is great. Always have a good variety. Best cornbread around. Hardworking staff that are great to deal with.
