I've lived in Thompson for two months and nearly every meal has been some variation of steamed veggies and rice. There was a vegan patty melt once and it was the most delicious thing I'd eaten in weeks, but I can't even eat the black bean burgers from the grill because they contain animal products.

Food is well overpriced for the quality, but students on campus who are forced to get a meal plan have to use their $1875 or they'll lose it $125 maximum refund per semester). Average meal costs $10+. For that price, the food at restaurants in town is significantly better. This is with Sodexo catering.
