What User doesn't like about Hooked On Seafood Maclean:
throw fish and chips that we have eaten throughout our lives! and we ordered 4 flocks and got 1 and didn't know until we came home. had to go back and the personal argued that we had only ordered one until we went through their harbour list and proved that it was 4 down. Cartoffelscals were tiny (smaller than a mandarin size) and cooked over. actually everything was boiled. we are here and we will never go back there... View all feedback. I was a bit nervous after the extremely mixed reviews but the “Dinner for 2” was delicious. The calamari and prawns were fresh and tender, the large pieces of fish were moist inside a very crunchy, slightly dense batter and the chips were good. Plenty of lemon wedges and seafood sauce were added to garnish. Definitely recommend it as a place to stop for takeaway fish and chips. View all feedback.

Totally awful. Everything tasted like old oil. Absolutely inedible.
Best fish and chips we have ever had, the barramundi and chips was 10 out of 10. Worth the drive from Yamba.

Used to buy your seafood on a regular basis when you first opened up. Was great. Just had a meal from you and I must say it was the worst meal I have ever had....

Best fish and chips. Always super fresh and tasty, one of the highlights of visiting Maclean. We always grab a feed when we're up from SA
