To begin with, they definitely don't close at 8 PM, but I couldn't find their opening hours to correct that! We were in Borth for a few days and struggled to find a good place to eat, but on our last night, we found this gem! Had we known, we would have eaten here every night. Very nice. Kovid safe, clean. good full-bodied pub-grub. cauliflower red paprika curry, and wildfowler welsh rarebit burger. reasonable price.
First time in this pub, friendly bar team, nice selection of drinks, menu looked good! Sat by the fire and watched the rugby...will visit again no doubt.
Just had a family meal tonight, the waitress and barman were really welcoming happy and friendly. Nothing was to much trouble they did their very best to make sure our evening was a pleasurable experience. The food was on another level it was exceptional in fact I would go as far as saying it was Michelin standard,it is quite obvious that the chef takes great pride in his work and that is reflected in all aspects of his cooking from preparation to presentation to plate. When we finish our evening everything was cleaned very effectively. It is very rear you see this standard and we can't wait to visit again. Well done and thank you for a great evening.
Great service and atmosphere and the food is top notch. Happy to recomend to anyone looking for good food. Will be returning.
I've been there several times and absolutely love the food. The service is quick and the staff is very pleasant. Overall, an excellent experience!
