What User doesn't like about Wanchako:
Well, it is a renewed restaurant in town, known by it's Peruvian influence on the kitchen. The Ceviches are very good, but the main courses can improve. I do recommend the visit, but don't have your stakes high. The service when I visited wasn't very good too. View all feedback.
This restaurant is a favourite. The food is delicious, the ambiance unique, and the service is stellar. We went back twice during our short stay and were very fortunate to be served by Gustavo both times. He provided the best service we experienced in Brazil. Highly recommended!
The service was excellent, as the main dishes; on the other side, the ceviche fell a bit behind. Overall, it’s a great restaurant, but a bit too over priced for what it is.
Great food, great service, but a bit overpriced for what it serves. Spending R$240 for two cebiche dishes is too much in my opinion.

In the moment that we go in a restaurant with a more high level, principally of price, we take a higher expectation. Although it is possible to see an interesting creativity on the mélange of the plates, with Peruvian and Nikkei, my order seemed to have been cooked with water direct from the sea. It was a horrible experience, and I only decided to do not send the plate back because I did not want destroy my moment with this type of stress, as if we go in a good restaurant is because there is something to celebrate. Second, I do not know if the staff need to act like English butlers or robots, but it took off all the naturality of the friendly way that we have not only in Brazil but in South America. Third, I do suggest a menu in English or even Spanish.
