When she broke the food, she explained exactly what was in it to help me calm my mind.

I have booked for the next month.

We be... read more Really missed Sri Lankan food since moving from London to Wales so we’re pleased when staying in Congleton to find this restaurant in nearby Macclesfield. We began with the mixed starter of mutton rolls, squid, fried lamb in a spicy sauce and fried balls of tuna (cutlet). We then ordered dosa bread, kottu roti, devilled lamb and black pork curry with a portion of mushroom rice. Everything was delicious but could have been a lot spicier for our palates. I enjoyed the lion lager in bottles. All in all an excellent little restaurant with great service.

The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were very friendly. I can’t praise the food enough—everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their selections from the diverse menu. The prices were reasonable, although the alcoholic drinks were a bit on the pricey side. This was my second visit to the restaurant, and I’m already looking forward to going back again.
