Great home cooking and a family atmosphere. The fried catfish is great as well as the burgers. Daily specials and breakfast buffet all good too! Loretta and Victor are hard working, good people!
It’s a friendly family atmosphere. Even when it’s jam packed you can still hear a conversation. The food we’ve had so far that we’ll go back for includes chicken fried steak and gravy, catfish, cole slaw, fried green beans, carrots, mashed potatoes, cornbread, and chocolate pie. It’s all really good and we’ve heard it is consistently that way..and that their breakfast menu is wonderful which is served all day. $5.95 daily specials. Service is friendly and prompt. On November 3 from 6 to 8, there will be live gospel music, also on the first Friday of the month, beginning in January. Loretta and Victor are sweet civic-minded people who love their community. They feed breakfast to the Panthers, cheerleaders, coaches, boosters, etc every Friday. We felt very comfortable there and look forward to going back. Roy is in rehab three days a week right down the road for about nine more weeks so it’s the light at the end of our tunnel right now. PTL!
