The first time I was on hold for about an hour, then I hung up. On the second attempt I was promised a call back, which I have not received to this day. I received an answer to the request via the contact form, but to answer you have to open a new contact form again...

We took a number from customer service at Ikea in Lyssach today (December 5th, 2024 at 5:10 p.m. . Even though there were no other customers, the number didn't change. The employees took about 10 minutes to have a conversation with each other without paying any attention to us. When Tamara (customer service finally spoke to us, she cheekily claimed that we must have missed the number. Our number was 543 and the number on the display was 541 the whole time. She was very rude and even said that if we weren't happy we could just leave. I don't understand why customers are treated so badly and rudely. We shop regularly at Ikea. Last year we spent around CHF 40,000. This is the second time we've had such a bad customer service experience. Unfortunately, the quality decreases every year. The friendly atmosphere of IKEA no longer exists, I no longer want to buy anything in IKEA.

Value CHF 10 to don't know how much. Good opportunity to buy replacement filters for the air purifier... So I arrived and went to the department where the air purifiers are located. Since I didn't know exactly which filters would fit, I had an IKEA employee in the department pick out the right ones for the Starkvind table. She did this on a terminal in the department, which then spat out a barcode that I had to scan with my cell phone. So you can't just collect the two filters and pay for them, no. You can take it to the checkout, pay there, then take the receipt to the pickup counter, which will then tell you that it will take another 15 minutes until the items are ready for pickup... Okay, wait. When the filters were ready to be picked up, I immediately noticed that one seemed much thinner than I remembered. The gentleman at the pick-up counter just said that it had probably been “optimized” a bit… The two filters cost around CHF 30 together, the voucher turned out to be a CHF 10 voucher, so I still had to pay around CHF 20, ok. When we got home and tried to install it, it was immediately clear that the filters were completely wrong! After a few days we went back to IKEA and then the big thing came from customer service: I only get CHF 20 back. So my voucher was “wasted” thanks to the wrong advice. Wow! Thanks! Financially it's not a problem, but morally it's completely wrong. Even when we asked customer service, nothing could be done.
