D Thai - Lyons
D Thai
Description
D-Thai delivers a mixed but memorable experience: a large, affordable menu with standout dishes (notably Tom Kha), strong vegan and vegetarian options, and attentive staff who often make up for uneven kitchen execution. Regulars praise presentation and takeout/delivery reliability, while others note inconsistent seasoning—some dishes are overly sweet, bland, or unexpectedly spicy—and occasional rushed service. Casual, friendly and parking-friendly, it's a neighborhood staple worth trying with modest expectations.

Food was bright and flavorful . Stop by and try this place if you're in the neighborhood.
Small restaurant with great food! The fried rice and pad thai is addicting!!!! The service is also great! This is my number one Thai restaurant. I've been coming here for 6 years
Excited to dine on what was a weekly meal pre pandemic.Ordered our usual, stopped in a little early for pickup and was ignored by the man at the front counter as he did several things and answered phone calls without wearing a mask. (Illinois restaurant employees must wear masks at all times currently). Being immunocompromised I counted the minutes i was indoors with someone refusing to comply as to not get past ten minutes. Around five minutes in I hears shouting in the kitchen and two employees walked past the doorway without masks. I used to like their green curry but not enough to jeopardize my health for.
MOST DELICIOUS Thai food I’ve ever had! Amazing service, great food and great atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place!
Ordered from D. Thai for pick up tonight. No one inside was wearing a mask when I went in to pick up. No one in the kitchen was wearing a mask. So thier standard ignore guests for 10 minute thing that was just annoying before this pandemic becomes potentially life threatening disregard for safe service standards. Not going back to D. Thai. Your currey just isn 't 'to die for ' good.
